Nick Graham is out there — way out there.
The designer trotted out a Mars-themed collection at New York Fashion Week: Men’s, complete with a couple of intergalactic luminaries: astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Bill Nye.
“Mars is the new black,” said the designer, who wore a head to toe silver metallic suit. (Get it?) “There’s a lot of shine,” he said. “I think shine will be big next year.”

Joseph Abboud delivers a dark spin on sartorial style with his fall-winter 2017 collection. Inspired by great Gothic novels, Abboud plunges into a romantic period.
Bringing to mind celebrated authors such as Edgar Allen Poe and Oscar Wilde, the collection balances the dark with the ornate.

Adding a soft touch to tailoring, pinched silhouettes coincide with patterned suits, belted velvet overcoats, fur trimmed jackets, and asymmetrically fastened coats. Abboud’s latest creations also touch on the dandy, contrasting brocades with herringbone and tweed.

Jeremy Scott Fall 2017 Collection

Jesus, Elvis and Michael Jackson were all referenced in Jeremy Scott’s fall collection. It seemed as if Scott was making a statement on idolatry, but if so, he could have taken it further. Not to say that Jesus-printed T-shirts and boots followed by “love stinks” babydoll dresses is not defiant. And after the most controversial election in recent history, he sent out too many familiar characters: the sex kitten, the Seventies shaggy-coat party girl, the studded cowgirl, etc., but his message was far from clear.
 http://www.thedapifer.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Jeremy-Scott-Fall-2017-Collection-New-York-Fashion-Week-The-Dapifer-3.jpg
We would have loved to pick his brain to gain some clarity, but Scott trophied Kylie Jenner and Sofia Richie in his front row, which caused a front-of-house commotion that left editors stranded and seatless. It was an apt reflection of a world that is being led by make-believe characters and false prophets idolized by all too many in fashion, who then wonder “How did we get to this place?”
 http://theimpression.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/jeremy-scott-rf17-1612.jpg
Somehow, the irony of trying to make a statement about idolatry while seating a reality star and Justin Bieber’s latest girlfriend in the audience seemed to be lost on Scott.

‘Project Runway’ put him on the map, but Beyoncé gave him star power. Michael Costello’s stunning Fall 2017 collection is one of his most detailed and empowering yet. Perfect for Bey and Jennifer Lopez, the skin-baring, curve-hugging designs are so gorgeous, you will definitely be seeing them on a red carpet soon!

 http://theimpression.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/costello-rf17-2604.jpg

Sequins, cut-outs, lace and silk are the essential elements to Michael Costello’s intricate, stunning designs for his Fall 2017 collection. From gowns to jumpsuits, the collection features a color palette of whites, blacks and a burst of silver. The Project Runway alum truly went above and beyond with details — and who better to wear these gorgeous looks than Beyonce  and Jennifer Lopez?
 http://theimpression.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/costello-rf17-2298.jpg
Immediately, you can imagine J.Lo working it on stage in the skin-baring, silver sequin jumpsuit. Hugging the model’s bod in all the right places, J.Lo would be bootylicious and sexy in the ensemble that seems it was truly made for her. There is no doubt we will see her in this, or something like it, very soon! The singer has worn Michael’s designs before, notably the canary yellow, draping belted gown she wore to the 2015 AMAs! She was a site to see!

Another superstar that is constantly seen in Michael’s complex designs is Beyoncé! She may not be fitting into all of his looks this collection, with her twins on the way, but, many of Michael’s flowing, deep-V gowns can be perfect for her maternity bod!

At the 2014 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé rocked a Michael Costello white, lace gown that had everyone talking! It was the design that made sheer lace gowns a trend and put Costello on Hollywood’s radar. It was truly one of her best looks for all-time. Michael also designed some of Queen B’s lacy leotards when she went out on tour in 2014. Needless to say, his work is iconic and this line definitely had Beyoncé in mind!

Dolce & Gabbana Menswear Fall 2017

“Seeing that made me feel old for the first time,” said the editor in chief of Italian GQ, Emanuele Farneti, as we stumbled out the door at Dolce & Gabbana today. You and me both, brother. For Fall ’17, Dolce & Gabbana took the idea of inviting YouTube and Instagram influencers from the millennial generation to their show, started by them last season, by inviting them to be the show.

But they weren’t only chasing models with fat follower portfolios; there were children of clients at the Alta Moda couture line in the mix, too.
Cameron Dallas, who, as usual, brought several hundred hopelessly devoted young female fans in his wake, opened the show in a black and burgundy suit as Austin Mahone, also suited, wielded a golden microphone on the runway.

Brandon Thomas Lee wore an oversize down jacket with patches of brocade over a pajama suit. Rafferty Law wore patched denim, Luka Sabbat wore a suit—Domenico Dolce said many of his choose-it-yourself models had surprised him by opting for tailoring—with a shirt open wide enough to display his chains, and Presley Gerber went for a red velvet jacket with guard embroideries. Tinie Tempah’s golden and blue floral jacquard suit was awesome.

Still, they kept coming: Diggy Simmons, Neels Visser, Chase Hill, Chen Xue Dong, and Sergio Carvajal in a collection that speedily became pretty bananas. Weibo fashion critic Gogoboi wore a faux-leopard-fur oversize bomber that came with a carnival prize stuffed leopard head at the hood; there were also polar bear and dog versions.

Regal canines—including a great snob fox in a smoking jacket shown on one velvet sweatshirt worn over brocade patch jeans—were a theme. Sneakers were dipped in resin, given elegant brand signature, or scribbled and sketched on in a teen-dream mosaic like those covering the backpacks of the Cameron Dallas fans screaming in the freezing cold outside.

Sofia Richie led a female cast that included Sistine and Sophia Stallone; Sonia Ben Ammar; Lucky Blue Smith’s fantastic sisters, Pyper America, Starlie Cheyenne, and Daisy Clementine; as well as Imogen Waterhouse; Lori Harvey; and client model Yumi Dondo. All wore lingerie. Usually, talking about those who walk in a collection more than the clothes seen in it seems wrong; here it was the point.

As Stefano Gabbana, who threw his first fashion show at age 19, said backstage, this was Dolce & Gabbana’s exercise in generational collaboration: “These guys are representative of millions of young people. We are not so young anymore.

So it’s very interesting for us to try to understand what they love and don’t love.” Luka Sabbat confirmed he and his fellow models wore only what they wanted: “I wouldn’t do this, otherwise.”

At the end, the protagonists in a collection called the DG Princes (they should have added princesses for parity) marched back out a happy hubbub. Then we old geezers shuffled out past the Cameron Dallas fans looking hopefully over our shoulders.

Dolce & Gabbana Menswear Spring 2017

The place was a club called No Ties, the time was eons back in the mists of history (okay, the early 1980s), and the occasion was the first time Domenico Dolce ever met Stefano Gabbana.

So, do the designers remember what the DJ was playing at the very moment they first locked eyes? “Sì! ‘Africa’ by Toto,” said Domenico Dolce, before presenting a collection that majored on a hard-to-resist medley of musical influence that featured some finely designed new-silhouette pieces and which was—as per—powerfully dosed with this label’s house-special blend of in-your-face Italianate pizzazz.

If "Africa" provided the musical amber that keeps Dolce and Gabbana’s first encounter forever pristine in their memory, today’s was delivered by The Hot Sardines. This New York jazz ensemble’s powerfully-tonsiled chanteuse Elizabeth Bougerol had all but the most blasé menswear followers nodding and applauding in between numbers.

After two warm-up tunes, one with the intro line of “Boys, boys, boys” signaled the arrival of Presley Gerber in a lean and long-bodied black suit on a checked runway lined with ornate palm tree lanterns: the set was a sort of Jazz Age Sicilian speakeasy. Next up, post-Presley, was Rafferty Law in a saxophone-print bomber and shirt with cavalry flashed pants. These two members of the designers’ seminal-millennial guest list had been promoted from front row to center-stage, and they made fine front men.

As this almost 100-look collection unfolded it became clear this was a multi-genre ode to music and musicianship played out in cloth. The great boom box bags reflected the oversize street-sport shapes of linen silk pants, tees, and sweats painted in faux-naïf nightclub vignettes or sequined and patched with designer themed band patches. A gold jacquard palm tree evening jacket or a patched military majordomo outfit could have come from a ’50s swing band stage. Patched black leather jackets were hard rock, multicolored leather blousons with collegiate detail more soft rock.

Like the selfie-snapping sexy tourists in the last womenswear campaign, many of these looks came accessorized with headphones and phone cases whose various motifs—from sequined cassette tapes to saxophones—were in tune with the rest. Single-letter alphabet rings spelled out D-A-N-C-E or L-O-V-E on the wearers’ knuckles.

Very discreetly, the designers sometimes sampled very specific elements of their own greatest hits, too; the oversized, top-stitched, and check-cuffed workers jacket teamed with flat cap and palm tree silk pants showed serious kinship with their earliest menswear collections.

They also delivered some new top notes: A three-quarter-length pant was structured through three pleats that accordioned out from a single stitch just south of the greater trochanter. A series of polo-kaftan hybrids adapted from their Alta Moda collection that came in the recurring leopard and tiger animal prints were a new riff on two old standards.

The finale was a medley too, a patterned cacophony of silk shirting, fine gauge-knit, and silk linen tees in the recurring patterns of the collection, or a series of imagined posters for Southern Italian music festivals from way back when: Palermo Blues festival, Agrigento Mambo, Taormina Swing.

Giorgio Armani Menswear Spring 2017

Three’s a trend. After Prada and Gucci devoted their Spring 2017 menswear shows to modern journeymen, Giorgio Armani titled his Crossing Borders. A trail of lights illuminated an imaginary path into the distance. In isolation, it’s unusual, because Giorgio Armani is remarkable as the most Milanese of designers—he wasn’t born here, but his earliest fashion experience was, in the windows of the city’s La Rinascente department store.

More than his own geographical location, it’s the ethos of Armani that feels Milanese, a breed of minimalism indebted to rationalism. Hence, whenever Armani globe-trots, it is seen through very specific eyes.

In actual fact, sometimes the Armani label can seem a country unto itself. It can never be forgotten that the fragmented identity of Italian fashion comes from a country only unified from disparate states and courts in the late 19th century. Even then, it took almost 60 years. Before then, warring factions and wealthy dynasties—the Medici, the Sforza, the Borgias—controlled their own fiefdoms.

Not so different from, say, the fighting between the families Ferré, Versace, and indeed Armani back in the 1980s, jostling for the supremacy of the prosperous contemporary kingdom of Milanese fashion.

The rites and rituals of the duchies of Italian fashion are as diverse as their liveries—but they all uniformly worship their leaders. Donatella Versace and Miuccia Prada elicit whoops and cheers as they bow at the close of their runway presentations; today, it took the mere presence of Giorgio Armani’s face on a sweater for the loyal factions to erupt in thunderous applause. You wonder what visitors to the Crown State of Armani—today, actor Kevin Spacey and Latin musician Ricky Martin—make of the whole spectacle.

Like any ruler, Armani quashes discussion of dynastic succession—there are enough stories of the vengeful assassinations of Roman emperors to discourage anyone from talking about who may be ruling the empire in his stead. So instead, Armani continues, designing clothes after his much-imitated template, a template that revolutionized menswear way back when and now has settled into easy familiarity.

For the second time this week, after his Emporio show, Armani emphatically reiterated his style codes—his bleached-out, subdued palette of colors; the relaxed silhouette, with jackets hugging but never gripping the body. Looking not for novelty but for continuation.

The injection of not only a sportswear feel but actual honest-to-goodness sporty items into this, Armani’s more formal main line, perhaps showed a bowing to a new, 21st-century definition of relaxed, where a nylon parka rather than a dropped linen shoulder spells casual. The shoes crossbred a technical sneaker sole with a suede moccasin, crossing borders between formal and casual.

Armani saw the Caribbean in his whorling geometric motifs scrolling through jacquard knitwear. I couldn’t. Perhaps that’s because Armani looks out—from his runway, from his backstage, from shirts on his models’ backs—and we look in. He sees the world in his shows. We see only Giorgio Armani.

Adam Selman Fall 2017

Adam Selman a graduate from the prestigious Pratt Institute, I had him as my student when I came to the University in 2001...He was amazing and very talented in the class...

Adam Selman loves weaving his collections with quirky obsessions. His past fixations have included wayward John Waters characters, a forgotten nudist colony loosely affiliated with Elizabeth Taylor, and a Netflix crime drama that he couldn’t help but binge-watch. But top of mind for Fall, he said, was an old favorite: denim.

In particular, he was taken with the rare book American Denim and its colorful illustrations of the craftsy world of ’70s denim art, each example more exhaustively embroidered than the last. “The book was sitting on my desk forever,” mused the designer, himself a fan of workwear, habitually seen in blue jeans or, as today, overalls.

“Finally I picked it up and I was blown away by all the crazy creativity.”
It’s not hard to imagine Selman poring over those images, wide-eyed and agog at the possibilities of denim, even if his own vision today was rather tame by comparison. A pared-down denim biker jacket, trench coat, and short skirt appliquéd with red roses emerged to a soundtrack taken from another current obsession, the 1966 spaghetti western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Only a few looks in, though, and we were confronted with the reality of another and quite opposing sartorial symbol of the ’70s: disco chic.

Out came shimmering Lurex minidresses, midriff-exposing halter tops, sweater dresses, jumpsuits, and pleated party dresses. They smacked of a febrile Halston flashback, but in fact Selman said they were influenced by another Studio 54 staple, sisters Mariel and Margaux Hemingway. “You know how I look to the Hemingways for inspiration. They always do me right.”

Those two things, denim and disco, merged into one supremely wearable collection, softened with a gently faded print—by fashion illustrator Ricardo Fumanal—of a woman in cheesecake-like nude repose, possibly a nod to mudflap girls.

The desert vibe was topped with a cat-eye sunglass collaboration with Le Specs and culminated with a topless model holding a “ridiculously big bouquet of roses,” Selman chuckled, to cover her bareness. And so, while whipping up elaborate costumes for Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and RuPaul seems to be a thing of the past (mostly) for Selman, we’ll always have his motley obsessions.

Pierson Forde had a full on flirty Twitter conversion with one of our fave DWTS pros Sharna Burgess,  and now we definitely want them dancing together!

It all started when the Bold and the Beautiful soap star dished that hewas up for an Australian romance in a new interview, and when a fan suggested he look out for Sharna, he put on some moves.
“Well we all know @SharnaBurgess is gorgeous, buuuuut I’m probably the better dancer …. I’d be willing to teach her a thing or two,” Pierson shared.

Sharna definitely replied to him then! “HA! Oh I’ve got moves you don’t even know about yet! It’s on Fodé… dance off when you’re back.. I’m taking you down!”
Could Pierson be Sharna‘s next DWTS partner out of this? You never know!

Spectra's Back on B&B!

$

She’s back! Well, sort of. Fans of CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful were treated to a head-shaking twist at the end of the January 31 episode when a young redheaded woman—brand new to the audience—signed a check with the name “Sally Spectra.” As longtime viewers know, that was the name of one of the soap’s most popular characters—a flamboyant rag-trade matron, played by Darlene Conley from 1988 to 2006, who’d do anything to get ahead in the fashion world.

So why is this new gal using Sally’s name? Turns out she’s totally entitled to it! TV Insider got the exclusive scoop from B&B’s head writer-exec producer Bradley Bell.

So what’s going on in your mad mind, Mr. Bell? Explain what we just watched.
Well, with B&B having its 30th anniversary on March 23, I’ve been thinking about ways to play into our great history. We always need new, fresh characters that pack a punch and no one packed more punch than Sally Spectra. So we’re bringing back the Spectra gang.

But how? Darlene Conley passed away, and so did Michael Fox, who played Sally’s wise old tailor, Saul. And then you killed off Schae Harrison’s character, Darla, who was Sally’s daffy assistant. Who’s left?
This will be Spectra, the next generation. We’re going to reveal that Sally has a sister, Shirley Spectra, and we’ve given the part to [Days of Our Lives vet] Patrika Darbo. I’ve known Patrika for years and have always wanted to work with her. The new Sally we just met on air is the original Sally’s grandniece and Shirley’s granddaughter. She’s played by Courtney Hope (Transparent), who brings a terrific energy and a really interesting edge to the role.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy and Sally Go to War, New Rivalry Heats Up – Zende Pops the Question
We also cast this wonderful young Broadway actor, Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening), to play Saul’s grandson, also named Saul. And the new Darla will be Darlita. That role went to Danube Hermosillo (Modern Family), who is hilarious and has a lot of dimension. All four have an incredible comic timing. I’m so excited about this group! We’re going through some rough times in our country and our world right now. We could use some escapism and levity, and that’s exactly what this new Spectra gang will provide.
 http://www.celebdirtylaundry.com/wp-content/uploads/bold-new-sally.jpg
What’s their back story? Are they in the fashion biz?
They want to be, desperately. Our new Sally has hopes and dreams of being a designer. The old Spectra Fashions brick warehouse is about to be hit by the wrecking ball—Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) wants to tear down the building and put up a skyscraper—but there’s a Hail Mary pass. We’re bringing back Mick Cain, as Sally’s son C.J., who owns the building. Mick has no interest in the fashion business but now he has a relative who is hot to give it a shot, so he’s going to let young Sally have the building for six months. She has very little time to make a go of it, but this is her opportunity to make Spectra Fashions shine again. And the original Sally is backing her from afar.
 http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/02/16/07/3D4778BB00000578-4229974-image-a-20_1487231907975.jpg
That’s right. You kept Darlene’s character alive.
Even though we lost Darlene, I always felt the character was bigger than life and that she should live forever. And she will. She’s still out there somewhere—traveling to exotic places, having her cocktails, surrounded by her boy toys. And we’ve come up with some cool ways to make her a part of this new story.

Will this gang be as conniving as the old one? They were always stealing designs and designers from the Forresters.
They will definitely play dirty. Young Sally wants this company to be legit but, right away, the decks are stacked against her. As with a lot of people who come to Los Angeles with lofty ambitions, reality will come crashing down. Both she and Shirley come from nothing. Shirley, who worked for years in a bakery, raised Sally when her parents flew the coop, and together they’re a tough, determined team. And they’re broke.
http://soapcentral.com/bb/content/scoop/twoscoops/2017/170206_sm.jpg
They don’t seriously think they can take on the Forresters, do they?
[Laughs] Well, not yet! But they will provide a marvelous contrast. You know, as time goes on, all our characters on B&B have turned into millionaires. Even Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is living in Beverly Hills now! The new Sally will be a sharp change from all the refined, sophisticated socialites on our show. The Spectras will be a much more realistic group, and they’ll introduce a whole bunch of relatable issues and real drama, along with the comedy. Let’s put it this way: The Foresters are champagne. Sally and her bunch are wine in a box!

As reported by Soaps.com on January 27, “The Bold and the Beautiful” will be doing another of their infamous shoots on location, this time in Australia, thanks to Qantas. With “B&B” set to mark its impressive 30-year milestone anniversary in March, Qantas, the flag carrier of Australia, announced plans to bring cast members ‘Down Under’ from February 12 – 17. While there, the show will film multiple episodes. Executive Producer and Head Writer, Brad Bell, stated that it would be an “epic celebration for our fans around the world.”
New location: According to the Daily Telegraph , the cast will shoot at Manly's Shelly Beach for a reception scene in coming days
He elaborated, “We are preparing to film the most glamorous location shoot in soap opera history. Collaborating with Qantas, Network TEN and CBS, viewers will witness romance, high style, jaw-dropping twists, harrowing stunts and major cliffhangers, all hallmarks of ‘Bold and the Beautiful’.”
Reception: An insider spilled to the paper, 'Shelly Beach is quieter than some of the others. We wanted a quiet intimate beach location, so the wedding reception is set over there'
“B&B” actors taking part in the Australian location shoot include Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Don Diamont (Bill Spencer), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), John McCook (Eric Forrester), Rena Sofer (Quinn Fuller Forrester), and of course Australian native, Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy Forrester), who played Kate Ramsey on the Australian soap opera “Neighbours” prior to joining the cast of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” A number of Australian celebrities are also set to appear in the episodes.
Secrecy: Scott Clifton told the publication: 'There is a lot of secrecy but … there is going to be a wedding, some drama, conflict and a stunt, too, which is going to be exciting'
“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” last trip to Australia was back in 2007 when the show marked its 20th anniversary. The most recent B&B location shoot was in Monte Carlo, where it was non-stop drama with Quinn arriving to cement her romance with Eric, and being confronted by his granddaughter Steffy.
Expect the Australian location episodes to air in March in conjunction with “B&B’s” 30th anniversary, which falls on March 23. Watch Soaps.com for more details as they emerge.

Justin Hartley On His THIS IS US Success: “I Didn’t Know I Was Known As The ‘Daytime Guy’. But This Show Has Certainly Changed The Trajectory Of Things.”

With only two more emotional episodes left of season one of the hit NBC series, This Is Us, Justin Hartley (Kevin Pearson) has certainly become a household name – with interviews and appearances on many top-notch entertainment outlets and talk shows.  Justin has shown just what soap opera fans have known for decades, that this guy is not only mighty-fine looking, but he can act, too!

https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/BDgIA5ipNvxrvlwpk1vWEQ--/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjtzbT0xO3c9NzQ0O2g9NDk2/http://media.zenfs.com/en/homerun/feed_manager_auto_publish_494/20b01f03a9cda137f3ff08e24e691d4a

Y&R fans were disappointed when Hartley departed the number-one soap where he played Adam Newman to the hilt to play one of the leading roles in the Dan Fogelman drama, but were thrilled for his primetime success. The fact that he can still be seen each week on their TV screens is fantastic for his longtime and new fans.

“I didn’t know I was known as the ‘daytime guy. But this show certainly has changed the trajectory of things.” In fact,  he related that recently a fan approached him who knew of his work on the now defunct Passions as Fox Crane and asked, “So, what happened after that? Did you quit?”  Far from it!  Hartley kept busy appearing on many primetime dramas, and going back to daytime, before nabbing the role on This Is Us.

As to just how good the scripts are each week on This Is Us, Justin could not be more happy and motivated: “There’s also something very daunting about reading a script and being like, ‘Oh my God, I hope I’m good enough to make this work,’ which is where I’m at right now.”

His role and that of the other leading male characters on This Is Us, played by Sterling K. Brown and Milo Ventimiglia, has given Justin a new view on fatherhood ( he is the dad to 12-year-old daughter Isabella) and masculinity: “It’s reinforced a lot of things I thought before. One of the things I constantly do is try to show my daughter what that is, what that means, what a man does. I try to show her that by example. I want her to find somebody that obviously measures up — she’s wonderful — and that deserves her. And there obviously isn’t anyone that does, but we’ll get close, hopefully.”

Justin added, ”There’s a time and a place where (being) a father is important, or a brother, or a relationship with a buddy,” he says of what it is to be a man as it is portrayed on This Is Us.
On Monday, Hartley was over the moon, and rightfully so, after the Hollywood new-source that is an institution, Variety featured him and the cast of This Is Us on the cover. Justin tweeted“Thanks @ Variety for the time and the space of your much coveted cover. Honored! I’m gonna get a copy, or 10, or 10 hundred.”

Justin Hartley Is 'a Little Upset' He Hasn't Had a Nude Scene on 'This Is Us': 'Am I Losing It?'

  http://gallery.superherofan.net/J/Justin-Hartley/revenge3x01--11.jpg
Justin Hartley is just as stumped as his fans as to why he hasn't been asked to strip down on This Is Us.
On the pilot episode of the NBC drama, Milo Ventimiglia took it all off, but for some reason, a nude scene hasn't been written in for Hartley.
 http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/mp/gIKLCLOfJFKl.jpg
"You know, the thing about it is -- no, I'm a little upset about it,"the 40-year-old heatthrob  joked while on Monday's episode of The Talk."I mean, what does that say? Am I losing it?"
That being said, Hartley gushed over the acting chops of Ventimiglia, his onscreen father.

"He's a tremendous actor and a very talented guy and a very sweet guy," he noted. "But also a very good sport and just an awesome human being."

Hartley clearly loves This Is Us as much as the show's 13 million weekly viewers. "We're talking about things that actually happen in real life and emotional things that couples go through," Justin said on ET. "There's death and there's loss, but there's also celebrations, right? I think any time you have a show that after you watch it, it sort of sits with you for a while and you take pause and you talk about it, yeah, it affects your life."

Justin Hartley is a little jealous of costar  Milo Ventimiglia's  This IsUs nude scene.
On the pilot episode of the hit NBC series, Ventimiglia — who plays father of triplets Jack Pearson — bore his bare buns for audiences to see.

Sitting down with the ladies of The Talk on Monday, Ventimiglia’s costar Hartley, who stars as Kevin Pearson on the show, is open to following in his on-screen father’s footsteps — and is a little disappointed the same opportunity hasn’t come his way yet.

Hartley, 40, joked, “I mean, what does that say? Am I losing it?”
But Hartley, who is father to adolescent daughter Isabella Justice   off-screen, is fine leaving nudity to Ventimiglia. “I just leave that to him. He’s very good at that.”
“He’s a tremendous actor and a very talented guy and a very sweet guy, but also a very good sport and just an awesome human being,” he gushed about his costar.

In October, physically fit Hartley revealed that frequently being unclothed or “eye candy” without intention behind it has bothered him at times.

“Yeah it has to be honest with you. I have no problem doing that kind of stuff when it’s necessary. You know for the show, especially in the pilot episode, we were telling that story, you know of this guy who is being objectified and sort of sick of taking his shirt off for no reason at all. It doesn’t matter what he’s doing, they want his shirt off,” Justin mentioned to The Insiders.

“So the interesting thing about that is in order to tell that story you have to sort of show it in that story, right?” he said. “So I then had to have my shirt off quite a bit in the pilot. That I don’t mind at all, you know storytelling. But the gratuitous stuff it does, it gets a little old sometimes, right? And, raising a daughter, I see this stuff all the time. It’s a touch much sometimes.”
This Is Us airs Tuesdays (9 pm. ET) on NBC.

Interview with Rogan Richards

Our last interview, brought our attention to you, and the launch of your new website. How is that going so far?
There’s a horrible backstory to this, which makes me super excited that I finally have my site up and running. It’s an extension of me, and a platform to showcase everything I’m passionate about. It’s been getting heaps of positive feedback, have you checked it out? Jesse Jackman ROCKS!

How did you get into porn originally, and what was the driving factor?
I actually made a couple of films way back when for the dumbest reason. I just wanted to prove to myself I was a sex beast. This also has a backstory of a socially awkward teenager who suffered from depression who combated this by forcing himself to do what ever he was scared off. Needless to say, I failed miserably. Cut to a few years a later, I had become much more sexually confident through my experiences as a rent boy, and had started posting muscle worship and bodybuilding videos online that were proving to be very popular, one thing lead to another and I decided to return to porn knowing it would give my career a massive boost. This time I succeeded!

Are you finding the world of porn fun? How does it fit in with the rest of your life?
Porn has provided me with great opportunities to pursue my other career paths. It has also been the result of great collaborations, friend ships and of course, great sex! What’s not fun about that! Like anything, you get out of it what you put in. By using it to create my name, it’s then become the diving board for me explore all the other things I’ve wanted to do in life.

Alongside that I understand you’re competing in bodybuilding competitions. Can you tell us about that?
For me this was a personal journey, having had a bodybuilding father who always wanted to see me compete but died in 2005. It was like reading the last chapter of a book I was too scared to finish. As well as a professional one, wanting to elevate the bodybuilding side of my career. I also developed a craving for donuts.

What have been your setbacks along the way to fame? How do you overcome them?
The two biggest set backs I’ve had was when some dip shit reported me to USA customs and I got banned just as my career was taking off. The second was the development hell I experienced with a web programming company that spanned out over almost 3 years. I have never felt as frustrated and defeated as when I was banging my head against the wall trying to get them to deliver my site. Luckily I am one stubborn bastard that never takes no for an answer. And if you will allow me to get soppy for a moment, anytime I’ve doubted myself or my career I think about all my followers who have never stopped believing in me, and these heart felt messages I get from people who claim that I’ve inspired them to stand out from the crowd and believe in themselves, to carry on when they wanted to give up, or even simply train harder in the gym, and that inspires me to keep being me and doing what I do! (The positives overwhelmingly outweigh the negatives!)

Outside of porn and bodybuilding, what do you enjoy doing with your spare time? How to you relax?
What’s “sparetime”, and what does “relax” mean?
For those of us who follow your aspiration to be big, hunky and hot; what are your tips?
check out the bodybuilding videos there.
What are your most prized possessions?
In no particular order and off the top of my head, Rogan Jr. my MOTU collection, Skippy Baxter’s ass and my laptop.
Do you have any weaknesses, such as a lust for candy, or a particular craving for something bad?
Choc jam donuts.

What would you say is the best part of your body?
Considering the amount of abuse I put it through and it just keeps on keeping on, I would have to say my c___!

I bagged an opportunity to speak to Dato Foland before his debut with Lucas Entertainment is released.
So what was your first porn appearance and who was it with? Tell us about the experience?

It was with Tom Brand, but it was with a condom. I liked working with him so much that I asked Lucas Entertainment to pair me with him again. We've talked and are both so excited to shoot a bareback scene together in Berlin this fall.
 http://ilarge.lisimg.com/image/8828195/740full-dato-foland.jpg
That serious look gets picked up a lot on. Dispel some myths about you being such a serious guy?
I might look serious, but the thing I take most serious is having fun. I love to have fun and get to have a lot of fun whenever I am working and doing what I love.

So far, what would you say your best experience in porn has been and why?
From all the work I've done, the best experience has been joining Lucas Entertainment. They take amazing care of me. I've now shot five times with them and each shoot has been great. When I'm on camera they let me do what I want to do and what I love to do in my personal life. Right now, I'm on top of the world.

Getting back to porn. Who would you most love to work with next but haven't yet had the chance? What would be the scenario?
I've heard Pedro Andreas is returning to porn and would love to work with him bareback. He's very sexy and I think we would have good chemistry. I'm hoping Lucas Entertainment can help me make that happen!

Before we leave you to continue with your sex, do you have a message for your growing number of fans and worshipers?
Peace, love and thank you to you all you. I hope you all enjoy me, enjoying myself with Lucas Entertainment!

Thanks so much for answering a few questions. I hope to interview you properly in the very near future! Have a great time at Lucas and congratulations!

How did you get into the adult industry? Who approached you - or who did you approach - and what made you decide to go for it?
I got into it by putting an application an adult site and was approached by Sean Cody first. I was just out of the military and the money was great

What was it like doing your first porn shoot - scary, interesting, sexy? - and what's different for you about doing porn now that you have experience?
My first shoot was a strange out of body experience. I was very nervous, but once I got over the initial fear, it was amazing.. I LOVE it now...the difference now is that my Falcon Family is so amazing and they treat me as part of the family, which is awesome
Are there any videos you've made, or directors or performers you've worked with who stand out for you, and can you tell us about them?
Lance Luciano was an amazing partner and Steve Cruz is my favorite director...

If you had to thank one person in the adult industry for helping with your career, who would it be, and can you tell us why?
After Sean Cody I was lost, I found Tom (Cool Tom) and he became my bestie and guided me in the right direction, which put me in FabScout's hands (Papa Howard). They put me where I should be, which is a Falcon Exclusive.
What's the funniest or weirdest thing that's ever happened to you during a shoot or during sex?
Aside from random people walking in and out, getting pooped on, condoms challenges, what else could a man ask for?

What do you do when you're not shooting porn? Got any hobbies, favorite TV shows, websites or things you like to read?
Gym, Gym, Gym, Beach, Rentboy, helping my family.. I Love being around people all the time.
What advice would you give a newbie who's just starting in the industry - any suggestions on what to do or what to avoid?
Be careful of false and empty promises, and be careful of predatory people....get a good agent, I was fortunate to get set up with Howard at FabScout.com.

Do your friends or family know you're a pornstar? If so, how did they react when they found out?
ALL of my family knows....they were shocked and upset at first, but after a lot of communication and soul searching, they are great now and very supportive.
What's in store for you in the future - any projects on the way? Will you still be in porn in 5 years, and if so, will you still be a performer or do you plan to be doing something else?
I am Falcons Man of the Year, Rentboy's Face of the Year, I am hoping that get a few other accolades this year during award season. I am in both of Falcon's next releases, California Dreamin' 1 and California Dreamin' 2. Future projects...I really enjoy touring and doing club appearances. I really enjoy doing this and want to continue past the Porn Star expiration date...I want to be around a long time.
