Into beefy furry men?  Meet Rob Maya. A former male model from Mexico who now works in tech.
Check out more images below. It’s fascinating to see his body transformation from his lean physique to thick and juicy.
Male Model Rob Maya 26 years old from Los Angeles, California.
"I recently relocated to LA after modeling around and working for different agencies and fashion communities around the world in Spain, Mexico, Italy, France, Brazil, Argentina and the US. After going to film school my experience in both sides of the camera have given me a great, confident and dynamic attitude when shooting and modeling in general. I have worked with great photographers and designers, have done campaigns for a couple well known brands and been in Fashion Weeks and fashion shows, I have been in commercials, film and music videos, but most important I have met great people. I'm chameleonic and photographers like that, although people love to see me always in underwear and swimwear I have experience in high fashion and lifestyle and also enjoy doing it."I recently relocated to LA after modeling around and working for different agencies and fashion communities around the world in Spain, Mexico, Italy, France, Brazil, Argentina and the US.

Premiere Interview: Roberto Maya: Male Model

Roberto Maya: “Although the modeling industry is still better for women, there will always be a huge market for men to work as well”
I was born and raised in Guadalajara, a big city in western Mexico where I had my first bachelor in International Affairs, although I’ve always been interested in arts in all of its manifestations, photography, sculpture, painting, film, dance and music. I then moved to LA where I finished my second Bachelor this time in Arts with a degree in Film. I’m very into the entertainment industry behind and in front of the lens.
I got discovered when I was 17, I was walking at a mall and a model scout spotted me and gave me his card. At the beginning I didn’t know what to think, I was flattered that somebody would think I could be a model, I really never saw modeling as a real job, so I thought about it for a while and decided to contact them.
Then I got my first test shooting, I was very comfortable, I think I was more comfortable than I was supposed to be, the photographer kept asking me to relax and not to pose so much, I was so unaware of how to pose in front of the camera that I see those pictures now and I hate them I would never show them to anybody.
I love when a photographer knows what he wants, that makes a shoot so much easier, smooth and most important: quick. When I know I’m having a photo shoot I watch what I eat a couple days before and keep my exercise routine, focusing on the light dinners which personally helps me a lot in getting a shredded looking before a photo shoot. Also sleeping well helps making look your body healthy and your face too.
I actually don’t mind being naked for a photo shoot, sometimes you have to do it, that’s why you’re a model. In fact, love artistic nude, I love human body form, it’s a piece of art itself, so if you have a beautiful body why not portraying it for the history.
It’s always fun in every photo shoot either you’re with a group of models or with one photographer but I have this very funny experience with this photographer who’s very eccentric, he kept forgetting what we were doing or suddenly lose sense of time and shoot for hours, He’s a very talented photographer and really good friend of mine, but the situations when we shoot together are so hilarious I always end up with stomach pain for laughing non stop.
I started walking the runways since very young. At the beginning I was so nervous but when you put in your mind that the protagonist is not you but the clothes you’re portraying, then the dynamic of you in the runway changes.
Image result for Roberto Maya male model
You have to show the clothes you’re wearing without losing your good pose and attitude but also without forgetting the designs are the soul of the night. I’ve walked so far with a bunch of talented designers: Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Diesel, Custo Barcelona, Just Cavalli, Sweet & Gabbana, etc.
When I’m walking the runway I only focus on one spot, I try not to think a lot be cause I get distracted easily, so I just focus my vision on one single spot.
Female models x Male Models: who rules?
I think although the modeling industry is still better for women, there will always be a huge market for men to work as well. If you’d ask me when I first started modeling if I’d thought I could survive modeling I’d have said definitely NO, Now I know if you are disciplined and smart in the industry you can do very well, but still not as well as women do.
So, I think male models get a lot of attention lately as well, men are starting to be more fashion conscious and that opens more market in men’s fashion and more opportunity for male models to work.
Any role model as an inspiration for your career?
There’s a bunch of girls that I can mention and the fact that I remember their names and faces means that they have provoked some admiration in me: I can mention Natasha Poly, Stella Tenant, Elsa Benitez, Liliana Dominguez, Sasha Pivovarova, Lily Donaldson, Lara Stone and lately Cara Delevigne. I won’t mention guys cause they’re all my competition lol.

And what about the black models into this industry?
Black models are everywhere in the US and in the world! Which I love because I have a fascination for any person of any race that is aesthetically harmonious and beautiful.

Roberto´s style: a fashionista?
I follow fashion a lot since I work so close to it, I love a nice pair of skinny jeans and some nice boots, I like low rise neck shirts, leather jackets and lately watches. I’m also a fan of shorts in warm days, moccasins and nice fabric in shirts. But my real obsessions are sunglasses!
Just imagine u a famous models surrounded by a huge crowd. How you´d handle it?
Well, it really depends if they’re just trying to hug me and kiss me I would just give all the love back. If they’re asphyxiating me I would more likely run away to save my life.

Dating x Loving
I’m very outgoing but shy at the same time, I like to get what I want and discretely work my way through it. My favorite date is definitely in nature, healthy food, nice relaxing music and lots of conversation. In love I’m a home boy. I love cuddling, being home and cuddling , stay in and cuddle, watch a movie and cuddle, cook and cuddle, work in home stuff and did I mention cuddling? :)

Sports
Running, soccer, kayaking, rafting, extreme sports and gym.

If you could have a super power what would it be?
To fly defintely, I honestly don’t care what my neighbors are doing and there are some people I would definitely hate seeing naked so I don’t want to see through walls. Flying I could save me so much time and money, no traffic, no stress and I love nice airplane views.

Who’s your favorite superhero?
Superman, In fact I have a tattoo in a secret area of my body with the Superman’s “S”

What is the dumbest think you’ve ever heard a model say?
“I’m going to beat you up and I’m going to get that job”

Atracting someone´s attention
Looking straight to the eyes.

Having fun, enjoying life
I have fun so easily; just put a bunch of my friends together and some beers and fun will happen for sure! Although I also love being out in nature, running in the beach, hiking in the hills, horse riding (and I’m a pro), camping and taking a guitar is also on my top list. When I’m in the city I love going to fashion events, Contemporary dance every time there’s a good show, art exhibitions and independent films and documentaries.
Going out with friends to new restaurants and hanging out in bars, I enjoy bars more than clubs because I’m a talker in LA West. I hang out in West Hollywood-Sunset Strip, in NY I stick to Meat packing area and around and Miami anywhere where the best DJ is playing.

The craziest (nastiest?) in a summer time season
I must confess I ate a Hot Dog from a street vendor in NY, I thought I was never going to do it but oh well. This summer I did some really crazy (nasty) things but I really can’t say it publicly hahaha!
If you could have a super power what would it be?
Being invisible.

Who’s your favorite superhero?
Superman, In fact I have a tattoo in a secret area of my body with the Superman’s “S”

what is the dumbest think you’ve ever heard a model say? (lol)
“I’m going to beat you up and I’m going to get that job”
In your IPOD
I love Björk, she’s in the top of my favorite singers. My iPod plays Radiohead, Sasha, John Digweed, Lana Del Rey, Zoe, Portishead, Carla Morrison, Apparatus, PNAU, Buddha Bar. So long story short: alternative, trip hop, electronic, progressive house, down time, world music and some pop when I feel it.

Food
Thai NUMBER ONE! I also love Tacos al pastor, mexican seafood and all Asian food you name it!

Fav underwear for daily activities and for those coooool sexy moments :)
I love Armani designs in underwear and I wear it all the time for daily activities because you never know when a sexy moment may cross your way.
Fav body part and why
I like my shoulders just be cause I’ve worked so hard to get them.

Guilty pleasure
Cheesecake-flan

If you weren´t a model you´d be…
When I’m not a model I’m recording videos and doing some figures in clay
An unforgettable moment
When I saw my family after a year without seeing them, I was so busy with work and they were too and we have never separated before for so long, The reencounter was a great moment.

The Projects
I’ve done a couple projects lately that I feel happy for. I’m filming currently a documentary as a DP and will start shooting my new upcoming fashion-art project in photography so stay tuned for more details to come. Also will be the new image of a beer company.
I recently shot a commercial for a luxury car that I can’t disclose the name until it comes out on TV, I also shot a video with Paris Hilton where I’m the model for her video, it’s for her upcoming new song and it’s a really fun vídeo. You will be able to check it out by the beginning of October.

Motto
Everybody wants to live in the top of the mountain without knowing that joy it’s found in the way it’s climbed.

Elias Michael Theodorou[ (born May 31, 1988) is a Canadian mixed martial artist. He is currently competing for the UFC in the Middleweight division, and won The Ultimate Fighter Nations:Canada vs. Australia. As of 26 July 2018, he is the #14 ranked contender in the official UFC middleweight rankings.
Elias Theodorou is a man of many talents. UFC fighter? Check. North American brand ambassador for Pert Plus shampoo? Check. Ring Boy (of which he owns the trademark)? Check. Actor? He’s working on it.

“The Spartan” recently shared on Twitter that he will be the star of an independent movie project. “Last Hit” is the working title. I caught up with Theodorou to discuss the movie, which is targeted to come out in 2019, and how he’ll use his experience as a mixed martial artist to help him launch his acting career.
The film is slated to feature competitive gamers Marie-Laure Norindr aka “Kayane,” Justin Wong aka “Echo Fox,” and “Zhieeep.” Without further ado, let’s hear from Theodorou himself.
Image result for Elias Michael Theodorou
ET: “Last Hit will be a story about athletics and what happens with one’s identity when they’re forced to potentially change it. I play an MMA fighter, huge stretch, and I get injured. It’s a comedy, so it will actually be a nearly fatal kick to the taint, potentially, that robs me of my ability to be a fighter. Athletes in general have to deal with the idea that being a fighter means that the shelf life is a set amount of time. So I lose it, in a way that comes suddenly. As a fighter, I reinvent myself. I do so through competitive video gaming.”
Image result for elias theodorou model
This isn’t your first role in a movie, but this is your first time starring in one. How do you feel about making the jump?
“I’m both the lead and the executive producer. It’s really exciting to be able to understand how an independent film is going to be built and all the underpinnings. Intellectual Property, trademarking, and all the fun stuff that goes into putting the film together. I’m excited to both be part of the film on both ends and really get out of my comfort zone and try to be the best I can be in the film.
“Basically, I am a professional fighter fighting at the highest caliber in my sport. In acting, I am a white belt. How do you become a black belt? You get the right coach to help you. I’m going to be essentially going from white belt to black belt in acting. I have an acting coach to really show me the chops.”
Image result for Elias Michael Theodorou
How did this opportunity come together for you?
“I met Brian Carver, who is the lead producer, and the writer, Kyle Francis. They both approached me. I was their first choice. They developed the script kind of around me. I was very instrumental in that part where I was the executive producer too, because I worked on the script to help put it together and kind of knowing myself. Not just the idea of shaping me as a character, but more importantly the story we’re trying to tell.
“It is a comedy, but it’s a larger conversation. You need to reinvent yourself if and when you can no longer perform as an athlete. And my character gets injured and has to reinvent himself, but there will be hilarity along the way.”

How has being a pro fighter impacted your mindset going into your indie film project?
“I want this to be a success, and in order to do that, much like in fighting, you have to be the best version of yourself on game day. Although game day is not specifically one day in putting a film together, it’s being the best every single time that you’re up and trying to perform. Both things kind of have parallels in the idea of performance.
“Most importantly, I’m going to have fun! It’s an exciting new thing that I’m going to be doing and it’s another way to build myself as a fighter and beyond.”
Image result for elias theodorou model
What are your thoughts on the cast and producers you already have on board? What are some next steps that the film will take?
“I’m really excited with the team that’s already jumped on it. I’m REALLY excited about the director we have attached to it. His name is Gary Hawes. He’s worked as the assistant director for many big films that you’re probably familiar with. “Juno,” “Interstellar,” the new X-Men moves, all the new Planet of the Apes movies. He was our first choice as well. We looked at many other directors and we really liked his style in his other films that he’s worked on. Most importantly, he’s really excited about the script itself. When he read it, he right away said to us he was down and wanted to make a great film.
“All the chips are kind of falling in line. We have a couple of the top fight game competitors in the world that have already jumped on. They’re going to have different roles across the board. We have a really fun team already on board.”
Image result for elias theodorou model
What excites you most about this project?
“The opportunity to start a new craft. I get to get out of my comfort zone and be the best I can be with something else. I really want to do it justice and I’m really excited about the potential team that I might be working with, and create something really funny.”
When will filming take place?
“Early fall.”
Image result for elias theodorou model
Is there anything you wanted to hint at?
“I can hint to this. The name of the film is a working title. We’re essentially working with a pretty well-known game that I think a lot of people will know. Once we have the trademark and IP in place as well, I think that will be a huge selling point.”
Where will viewers be able to catch it once it’s out?
“Work in progress. There are options for potential movie theaters, but more importantly, there’s an opportunity for it to be bought by a large streaming service.”
You’re a pretty active guy. What other projects or deals have you been working on?
“I launched my YouTube channel, the Mane Event ™.  Launching my YouTube channel, I stepped out of my comfort zone in a different way. At a regional show in Montreal, I was their Ring Boy ™. It was a really fun experience. I used it as my first attempt at it and showed the video to all women’s MMA promotion Invicta FC and talked to their president, Shannon Knapp. She loved it. I’ll be making my Ring Boy debut March 24 at Invicta FC 28 in Salt Lake City, Utah.”

“Furthermore, I plan on creating a calendar, because I own the trademark for Ring Boy. So I’m going to basically talk to a bunch of other MMA fighters and see if they want to do ‘Ring Boys of the Cage.’ It’s mixed martial arts, there are weight classes. So we can get some big, beautiful heavyweights in there. I’d love to get Derrick Lewis for July, the ‘Black Beast’ himself! I don’t want to create the calendar just yet. I’m thinking a back to school calendar!”
As far as your MMA career goes, do you have any idea of when UFC fans may next see you inside of the Octagon?
“April/May. There’s nothing set on my end. I’m going to talk to my management. They’re in talks with the UFC. I’m going to try and find an opportunity to get in the cage and I’m going to take it. Then I’ll fight again. I plan on fighting three times this year.”

Elite Model Frank England stands at 6’2 and hails from Downingtown Pennsylvania. After attending James Madison University Frank was signed with Elite Model Management. Frank is making his rounds in the modeling industry and spent time from his busy schedule to answer a few questions on the guy behind the face. Photography shot by Fritz Yap, Tony Veloz, Caroline Simmons, Josh Filauri, and Joel Code.
Image result for Frank Englund
What do you love most about modeling?
There are a lot of things I love about modeling. First would be the traveling. I have an opportunity to travel the world and meet people from all different cultures and backgrounds, I’ve met so many amazing people already, I love it. Second, it’s an opportunity for me to really push myself physically and see what I am capable of accomplishing with my body. I always planned on being an athletic trainer or doing something within training, this is a chance for me to focus my training on myself and see what I can do. Third, there is no ceiling in the modeling industry.
You can make absolutely no money as a working model, or on the flip side you can make ridiculous money, you just don’t know what kind of jobs are going to come your way. That both scares and excites me. And fourth I would say modeling is a great platform to positively impact people. Many models have huge social media followings; I see that as an opportunity to use your following in a positive way to help people.
Image result for Frank Englund
What keeps you motivated?
There isn’t a whole lot to keep you motivated in this industry outside of yourself. My family and friends are supportive which helps, but there are so many ups and downs in this industry. I see models quitting right and left because they can’t handle the stress of the industry. The thing that keeps me going is never being content. I know every day that I can be better, and I know agencies see that in me and I truly believe it will take me far in this industry. I also don’t compare myself to other people within the industry. A lot of models will say they aren’t as good looking, in shape, pretty, tall…etc as someone else and end up going crazy thinking that way.
What were the major milestones that gave you that “extra” motivational boost?
I am fairly new to the industry, so I wouldn’t say I’ve had a ton of “milestones” per say. Signing my first two international contracts were big, I signed in both Mexico City and Germany. The most recent milestone would have to be shooting with Mike Ruiz. He is a celebrity in the world of photography and has shot the very top guys in the industry as well as celebrities. Sean Opry, Lucky B Smith, Mike Ohearn, and Chris Hemsworth to name just a few, the list goes on. He chose me to shoot for his most recent project, it’s a true honor.
Image result for Frank Englund
What are your future goals, dreams and plans?
My immediate future goals are simple. I need to make my rounds in the three major US markets which are NYC, LA and Miami. I am currently in Miami now. I also need to spend some time in the European market. I just need to do all I can to get my name out there in the industry and let people know who Frank Englund is.
What does your current training split look like, and what do you like most abou it?
I change up my splits fairly regularly so my body never gets used to what I’m doing. As of now I’m doing a classic split of just isolating one body part per day. Cardio and diet are extremely important to keep me lean for modeling, so I do some form of cardio every day and dedicate two days/week specifically for cardio. An average week will look like this for me:
Monday: Legs/Cardio
Tuesday: Chest/Cardio
Wednesday: Cardio/Core
Thursday: Back/Cardio
Friday: Shoulders/Cardio
Saturday: Cardio/Core
Sunday: light cardio/full body stretch and recovery.

What are some of your best tips for someone who wants to break into the modeling world?
Control what you can control. There are a lot of good looking people out there, but your physique is what can separate you from the rest, and that is in your control. Network and be sociable. Clients may originally hire you for your looks, but if you are stuck up or have a dry personality you won’t get rehired. The people hiring you are just that, people. Nobody wants to work with people they don’t like.
What’s the best advice you would give to someone wanting ripped or shredded abs?
The saying “abs are made in the kitchen” is 100% true. Get your diet in check before anything else.
Image result for Frank Englund
What does your off-season bulking (eating) plan look like?
I don’t do an off season. I have to be cut and lean 24/7 365 days/year for this job. My diet and training stays consistent year round.
What does your cutting (eatting) plan look like?
If I’m really trying to dial in for a shoot I know will be focused on my body Ill cut back calories slightly, but not much. The only thing I add into my training routine will be quick nightly HIIT workouts to get my metabolism firing before bed.
Image result for Frank Englund

What are some of the biggest training mistakes you’ve made?
I’ve made every training mistake in the book. I was just as naïve as anyone when I first started. When I first started training I ignored the diet aspect completely. I was being stupid and as a result I didn’t yield any of the results I was looking for. You can’t out train a bad diet.
What are some of your favorite supplements and why?
Every supplement I use is from a company called IDLife. They are the first to bring about customized nutritional supplements based on science to the market. All products are 100% natural, non GMO, gluten free, casein free, soy free, and lactose free. They are the only supplements I 100% trust to put into my body and know I’m not consuming anything harmful. That goes for both nutritional and training supplements.  All products can be ordered at www.livingthe.idlife.com

Favorite activites and hobbies you enjoy when away from the gym?
Away from the gym I love to be outdoors. Stand up paddle boarding and sailing two of my favorite activities. Other than that I spend a lot of time with family and friends.
What newbie mistakes did you make when you first started modeling?
When I first started modeling I was “too muscular” for the industry. My agent told me that over and over but I ignored her because in my male brain I thought the more muscle the better. I finally listed to her and leaned out and what do you know…she was right haha!
Any last advice for beginners or anyone looking to get into modeling?
Just do it. If it is something you want to pursue take digitals of yourself, send them into an agency and get some feed back. If they say no move on to a different agency. Have a personality when you meet with people, it goes a long way. And like I said before, control what you can control.
Any upcoming projects you are working on?
I am very new to the Miami market. I’m currently working with my agency to build my social media platform and get as much publicity down here as possible. I’m excited for what Miami will bring.

Amiram Eini: “Meeting interesting people, like Versace before he was killed, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Calvin Klein has also been fun"

Hi Christopher, on my free time I am a martial arts and Yoga instructor, but I’ve also released three albums, and toured the world as a musician. But my real profession, as in what I studied, is fine arts and painting, which is something I still love to do...

Modeling: how did all begin
I had a girlfriend in art school that was modeling at the time, she brought me to her agency, although I wasn’t really interested at first.
My first job was a trip to New Zealand for a big commercial. We travelled business class, stopped for a few days in Bangkok, and Bali on the way, and I was hooked ever since. Since I was in art school it was quite easy to get my colleagues to shoot me some pictures, and off I went on a new path.

Traveling is by far the best thing about modeling, but I do love being on commercial sets, which has also brought me into acting more. Meeting interesting people, like Versace before he was killed, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Calvin Klein has also been fun.

Like photographers who trust you to do your job, and let you flow, who trust themselves that they will catch those magic moments.

I don’t usually do nude shoots, unless it’s something very particular.

The runway shows....
My latest fashion show for Billionaire was really funny as everyone was over forty, and most were over fifty. They were talking about their grandchildren. I felt really young again.
I do remember running half naked into Naomi Campbell, while she was also half naked on my way back to the runway during one of my first Versace shows. She took it in good humor and we ended up with quite a few drinks of champagne after
I also remember a swedish model who was working for an agency in Vienna called Wiener. She was also a hand model and said loud and proud at the dinner table “ but I do all the hand jobs at Wiener” Needless to say we were on the floor laughing.

Male models & Female models
I think women definitely still rule. I’m old school, so the women back in the days I used to admire were Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Tatiana Patitsig etc. The only male model I knew the name of before I started modeling was Marcus Schenkenberg.

Not, my friends were all surprised when I started modeling, cause I like it as simple as possible. Cargo pants and t-shirts

I’ve had a similar experience as a musician, it was great. Signed a few autographs and did some selfies. Its fun!

Craziest (nastiest?) moments u´ve ever had in summer time seasons?
Crazy and nasty is too crazy and nasty for it to be revealed here :)
One summer I did hitchhike a 20 gig tour, all around the country. That was rock ’n’ roll life all the way.

Fav underwear for all moments?
I’ve gotten tons of underwear from body jobs over the years, so its pretty random what I choose on what occasion.

Music?
In my phone I like to listen to podcasts, history and current affairs things

Amiram in 10 years?
I hope I will have another three albums out, be on tours, have more exhibitions, and keep doing martial arts.

Model Leonardo Marques: “I never thought about becoming a model. A friend of mine asked me “why don´t you become a model and start to travel around the world?”

Hey guys, I'm Leonardo Marques, a brazilian model and I was born in Brasília, the brazilian capital city. I love a simple life, chilling out with my buddies having a real good time, gym, walking traveling around the world and meeeting new people. After some cool modeling seasons, I´m back to my hometown again to
enjoy this special season of the year with my family and buddies.
I never thought about becoming a model haha, actually I was 17, I had finished school, getting ready for university and looking for a job. So a friend of mine (he´s a model too) asked me “why don´t you become a model and start to travel around the world? You won´t gonna spend money and you will also meet such unique life styles and cultures”. So I decided to give a try just because of the trips. Then I had my first shooting for Nokia´s big campaign in whole Asia. That was funny , I did not even know how to pose in front of a camhaha. But after that I startet to fall in love with this modeling business.

Working with photographers
You always find out something about yourself with different photographers. It´s one of the aspects that I like most when I work with them. They always tell u something as ” this side of ur face is better than the other one.”. So, I appreciate the
Critics. I don´t have any previous preparation. I just be myself right through the lens of the photographer trying to give him/her what they really expect from me. Once I was shooting in Malaysia – Kuala Lampur for L'Uomo Italy – underwear. I was there posing against myself to the “wall” but it was a fake wall not a real one and by accident I put down the whole scenario of the shooting and then I need to wait for almost 3 hours to get back to the shooting again lol. I love them! The coolest one was for Armani. Just imagine lots of models walking in the runway. I believe that is a great moment in a models career. Funny backstage? i remember in Munich I was walking for Adidas and the light was all over in my face so I could not see the end of the catwalk and guess what happens next? I fell down but just for a brief second cause I I started walking again as if nothing had happened but I think the german client won´t choose me again for his catwalk lol lol!
Image result for Model Leonardo Marques runway
A fashionista?
Def not! I always choose wearing clothes that make me comfortable. I don´t follow fashion trends and I don´t take too long in front of a mirror
Imagine u a famous model surrounded by a huge crowd!
Well, I really don´t know how I´d react to this situation, I prefer to be anonymous, but if it takes really wild, I´d probably try to escape to a safer place.

Show biz, Fame, Success and the most important things for his life
I don´t wanna be famous. Success and fame are 2 different things. I mean fame makes you sad, alone and a non-believer people. success in other hand, makes u stronger and positive about your life, When u achieve the succcess in your career, you become happier people , so if I´d be able to choose, I´d take success with no fame at all, but I´m afraid in my career, unfortunatelly, it won´t be possible
5 most importat things for my life are
# 1 Love, cause it´s the best feeling in a human being. Love can bring u everything.
# 2 Famly
# 3 Peace
# 4 Happiness
# 5 FAITH

Kacey Carrig: “Kate Moss was amazing. Means a lot to me when I am just breaking into the industry and one of the most famous models ever is being so kind to me”

My name is Kacey Carrig, I am 20 years old from a small farm town called Shamong, New Jersey.
I am a full time student enrolled at The College of New Jersey where I am studying Business Marketing. I have played sports all my life and played for my college until the time commitment for modeling became too much. I love just hanging out with friends playing sports or just relaxing.
Image result for Kacey Carrig

The modeling career:
Versace Campaign, Kate Moss, Because & Marcus…wow!
I was always interested in modeling growing up, but I always just kind of shook off the idea of it because of all the sports I was playing. It was when I first got to college where I figured it was now or never. I Went into the city one day with my mom to meet some agencies, and got a call back from Ford where
they asked me to enter into the VMan model search. I became a finalist and got a contract out of it.
Before I did any actual jobs, I did a decent amount of test shoots to get me comfortable in front of the camera and to develop my portfolio. I never actually stepped in front of professional photographer until then, so it took a little to get comfortable in front of the camera with them.
Image result for Kacey Carrig
The best thing about modeling so far has to be the traveling and the people that I have met. I only have been on a plane twice in my life before modeling and never have had left the country prior to modeling. Now I have been to Europe numerous times and islands such as Dominican Republic. Meeting people such as Donatella and Kate Moss is such a surreal experience. They were people I have only seen on TV and in magazines, and here I am posing with them.
Kate Moss was amazing. She is such a down to earth person, and was so nice to me. Means a lot to me when I am just breaking into the industry and one of the most famous models ever is being so kind to me. Donatella is one of the sweetest ladies. She is always looking out for everyone and is very sincere and generous. The shoot took place in London. The casting process was pretty simple for me actually. I already did 2 shows and a campaign for them prior to this campaign.
So they just wanted to see some updated Polaroids before they decided. I love working with Mert & Marcus. They are unbelievable photographers who always have such an amazing vision. They are so easy to work with because they are fun, energetic and give great direction.
And talking about photographers…….
I just enjoy the interaction and connection you have with a photographer while doing a shoot. Its a collaborating effort to make a good photograph. I wouldn’t say I go through much preparation before posing to a photographer besides talking to them before and seeing what they are looking for. I will look
at their prior work and see what kind of style they have.
I have never been fully naked in front of the camera. I am sure the situation will eventually come up. I am comfortable with being naked, but only my backside will ever be exposed in the finished photograph. Every photo shoot that has more than one person always ends up being goofy and fun. Sometimes there’s a good amount of waiting around, so if you are with another model you usually find something to entertain each other. I remember Edward Wilding and myself going around exercising on the dining chairs at the studio, then using our boots from the shoot to see who could juggle a piece of bread for the longest.
The catwalks´s experiences:
I have really only done Versace shows besides a few NYC shows. I absolutely love doing shows, the adrenaline is always pumping.
Male models X Female models:
I think Men’s fashion is certainly growing, but I believe women still rule this business. Also women’s fashion is such a bigger industry than men’s fashion but With the increase of social media though, men are starting to get a lot more exposure.
Some of the male models that inspire me would have to be guys like Sean O’pry, Simon Nessman, David Gandy. Guys who have made such an impact in Men’s fashion.

Kacey, a fashionista?
I like to say I have a very clean cut, and simple look when I am not modeling. I like to be comfortable in what I am wearing so I am usually wearing jeans with a nice sweater from Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. Or just a tank top and shorts in the summer.

Imagine u a famous model surrounded by a huge crowd!
With arms wide open. I would be completely gracious about the situation, making sure I meet everyone that has come up to me because anyone that supports me and chasing my dream deserves all my attention and appreciation.
Image result for Kacey Carrig
Dating X Loving
I love to have a girlfriend. Someone who is always there to talk to and share your experiences with.

Sports:
I am always so active. I have played sports all my life and played college tennis. Definitely have shaped and molded me into the person I am.

Attracting someone´s attention
Being my goofy outgoing self.
Having fun, enjoying life.
Image result for Kacey Carrig

Ronny Oosterling: “men are getting more popular and trending but women still get paid more and everything.”

Hi there, my name is Ronny Oosterling, I am a dutch model. My number one interest, next to modeling is fitness. I Workout 7 days a week, I can see it has become a little obsession haha.
Related image
Modeling: how did all begin:
I began as a joke. My mother said it to me and some friends too. At some point I decided to give it a try, So I paid for a shoot and I noticed people were really excited about me and modeling, since that moment everything started happening.
The best thing about modeling, is that it opens up a whole new life for You, the traveling, meeting people, find yourself on adventures, the exposure, I can say it really took over my lifestyle.
Related image
Posing to photographers:
It is always fun when I work with photographers. I always try to give my everything for good photos, but I always try to create a relaxed vibe around it. I can see I am 100 percent relaxed in front of a câmera. For Some body photoshoots I do a fitness prep (water depletion and carb load) to look my best, lean and ripped).
Something funny Huh? Well I got a story, my first paid job was in the Netherlands for Calvin Klein. It was a presentation show for the new underwear collection. While we were standing backstage (in underwear only) the door opened and I was a little amazed by the amount of spectators. So I just went the flow, But I guess picturing the crowd in their underwear didnt worked for me in that situation haha.
Related image
The runway shows
I mentioned the Calvin Klein presentation show. Other shows I did were for Neill and Hummels. Last year I went 3 months to Istanbul, worked a lot there for different brands. When I walk down thea catwalk I just focus on some point at the end of the runway, So that I don't get distracted, but neitherless I mostly enjoy it.

Male models x Female models
I notice men are getting more popular and trending but women still get paid more and everything. One of my fav models is Doutzen Kroes because she is one of the first dutch female models who killed it in the industry. A male model who I look up to is Matthew Terry (known from Calvin Klein commercial) because we really look a like haha, So If hè can do it, Well I can do it too.
Image result for Ronny Oosterling
Ronny´s style
I think modeling really geared up the way I dress. For example, I used to wear beggy jeans, Now I am a skinny jeans type of guy. I guess I got more fashion like. When I am not modeling, I still try to look good, of course. That just the way I am I guess.
ronny 1
Imagine u a famous model surrounded by a huge crowd!
I will be nice of course, I think you always have to be nice to fans, because maybe thats to only time they will greet you in real life and you want to give a good image of yourself.

On show biz
The only thing I hate about the show business industriy are the “reality” shows, because
They are so fake and so scripted and most people doesn't seem to know that they are fake. I have no word for it, it frustrates me a little.

Dumbest thing you´ve ever heard a model say
Uuuhm haha I guess “why do you give me a mentos, do you want me to ruin my diet?” Yeah, thats it haha.
Image result for Ronny Oosterling
Superpowers and Superheroes
If I have a superpower?… flying for sure, it would make everything a lot cooler and easier. My favorite superhero is Batman, hè has no superpower But beats superhero
with superpowers, thats just badass.

Attracting someone´s attention and enjoying life
I don’t have a specific way to get someones attention, but If I have to do, I will take my shirt off… or not haha:)
Image result for Ronny Oosterling
I have different ways of having fun, I can be perfectly on my own, but with Other people, friends, girlfriend, I will have a good time too. I am ussualy everywhere during the week, guess I am a born traveller.

Craziest thing ever done in a Summer time season, body part and underwear!
I think its best for everyone to keep that a secret XD My favorite body part is my chest and I rock Calvin Klein for underwear mostly.

Music and Food
I really don't have a favorite singer, I enjoy a lot of music depending on my mood.

Fav food
Same as music, I can see I am an all- around eater.

If u weren´t a model….
I´d be searching for some fulltime fitness related job.
Image result for Ronny Oosterling
Fav booking so far
It is a booking of which I know will deliver good pics or just a cool vibe during the shoot.

A cool moment
It is when I arrive to some beautiful place.

Ronny in 10 years
In about 10 years I see myself having everything figured out, own fitness business, still seeing the world, doing cool things.

AN AMERICAN GUY DISCOVERING MODELLING
Chad was born in Portland, Oregon (USA), on July 11th, 1985. His teenage dream was to become a player in a major league of baseball, but unfortunately an injury in an elbow put an halt to this dream. He was twenty when a friend who was a model, ask him to come with him to a fashion show. He was noticed by the staff of the fashion house and asked if he would like to be a model. Firts he refused, but in 2005, he signed with Major Management New York. His career started immediately and he moved to New York from his native Oregon.
Steven Klein was fist to capture the beauty of this beautiful body, in 2006 among with the model Mischa Barton for a campaign for Bebe, then in the magazine GQ with Adriana Lima., and finally later in the same year for l’Uomo Vogue for an editorial published in 2007.

And in 2007, was also the year of his first walk down on a runway in Milan, Italy for Dolce & Gabbana. Steven Meisel later on photographed the sexy Chad with two beautiful models Julia Stegner and Hilary Rhoda. Terry Richardson was the following photographer to shot our  talented model. Still in 2007,, he appeared in Louis Vuitton catalogue and  in V Man magazine. In 2008,  Chad worked again for a show of Dolce & Gabbana, and appeared in DSquared 2 show , both located in Milan, Italy. At the same time was released an editorial with Chad in Details magazine revealing more of his hotness’s. He was the cover boy of the gay magazine Attitude, by the photographer Matt Irwin. In L’Officiel Hommes he was shot by Milan Vukmirovic.

CHAD WHITE A GAY ICON
For sure with such an well shaped body and an attractive smile, Chad White was quickly adopted by the gay websites where his pictures were extensively posted. Then  as a Gay icon, Chad has contributed to other gay magazine in addition to Attitude, he was the coverboy of the French Tétû, the Australian  DNA, the American Out or the Dutch Winq.

When asked how he feels about the Gay Community, Chad answer is very clear:
“I love the gay community, they are down right the coolest damn people I know. A lot of my best friends are gay. My agent who I owe everything to is gay, he’s like a second father to me. He took me under his wing when I had nothing, thank you Jason.” He is referring to Jason Kanner who create his own agency Soul Artist Management coming from Major Models NYC.

HOT AND CHARMING BOY
Chad White is not your usual hot boy toy, he is known for his patience and he is extremely disciplined something that he got from his baseball days. A kind and gentle guy who does not talk much, Chad, as his friends say, is more intelligent than you think he is. What strikes when you see his interviews is how this man is smiling and how his smile is sweet.
When he is free, Chad plays baseball, football, soccer and golf.

What up Chad?
Okay Chad, time for the 64 million dollar question. Gay or Straight?
Chad White: Straight.

So there’s no way I can talk you in to having sex with me?
Chad: Nope.

Would a six pack of Pabst help?
Chad: Maybe Heineken. (laughs)

Okay we’ll come back to that. So your from Portland?
Chad: Yep, Portland, Oregon.

And your how old?
CW: 32
Image result for Chad White Nude
And when did you start modeling?
CW: I started my senior year in high school working for Nike. I was pursuing baseball as a dream.

Oh ya, weren’t you like a known “up-and-comer” headed for the major leagues?
Chad: Ya, I was under the wing of a retired major leaguer who was sort of my mentor and he started grooming me in that direction until I hurt my elbow. I started modeling more seriously as way to pay for the surgery.

So did you know enough to say, “I have to get to New York if I wanna make it big,” or how did you get back east?
Chad: Well I joined the navy at that time.

 What!? The Navy? That’s hot.
Chad: Well I was drinking and partying a lot so I needed a little structure and discipline and I thought that would be a good way.

Okay so how did you go from the Navy to being Steven Klein’s muse?
Chad: (laughs) Uh, Jason Kanner had seen Polaroids of me and called me the day before I was shipping out.

No way, talk about destiny.
Chad: Ya.

Image result for Chad White Nude
So Jason Kanner literally saved you from the military. Are you happy with the way it’s all worked out?
Chad: Ya, it’s a dream come true.

And besides your obvious good looks, you have won over fans by donating your time for charities. How did you fall in to that?
Chad: Well my booker Jason is one of my best friends in New York and whenever he comes to me and presents opportunities to give back I’m always all for it.

So you are obviously aware that you have a huge gay following. How does that feel?
Chad: I’m honored. A fan is a fan gay or straight, it’s all the same to me.

Image result for Chad White Nude
Well I think it’s admirable that your so open and supportive.
Chad: I know a lot of models that are one way with people and then when we walk away [from jobs or castings] its a different story. They are friendly when they need to be and then talk a lot of shit, which I don’t agree with. I grew up in a very open-minded household. My mom always taught me not to judge people and if I ever did my dad was there to whoop my ass (laughs). I don’t get the whole discrimination thing. People have always just been people.

So what are you in to?
Chad: Sports. I like all kinds of sports and outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking and walks on the beach..(smiles)

 Oh shit.
Chad: (laughs) I’m a total thrill seeker too…like bungee jumping, skydiving, roller coasters, I love all that.

Related image
Are you living in the city now?
Chad: Ya, I cant live anywhere else. I love New York.

Well you seem to be very big in Milan. Do you enjoy doing the European circuit?
Chad: I love the shows, the castings are boring though.

Well your such a name, do you even have to do castings anymore?
Chad: Sometimes, depends on what it is.

Speaking of Steven Klein, have you enjoyed all the work you’ve done together?
Chad: Hell ya. I love Steven, he’s an amazing photographer and a total perfectionist. I’m grateful anytime I get to work with him.

Related image
And who else have you worked with?
Chad: Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Arnaldo Anya, Mr. Joe Lally…

That’s quite a group. Any favorite shoots that stand out in your mind?
Chad: Well of course L’uomo Vogue with Steven is up there and the story I did recently with Meisel for Vogue was a lot of fun.

Well thanks for poppin’ by Chad, it’s always nice to see you.
Chad: Thank you for having me its a pleasure.
Image result for Chad White Nude
So if we were on a deserted island with no girls in sight, you still wouldn’t have sex with me?
Chad: (laughs) I don’t think so. That’s funny though and I appreciate your tenacity.

OH! One more thing. How do you like shooting nude?
Chad: I don’t mind at all. I think America’s hang-ups about sex and nudity are ridiculous, it’s not like that in Europe. Gladiator is my favorite movie, the Romans and all…I love how they held nudity in such high regard with the statues and art. That’s how I view shooting nude, it’s art.

Chad White: A Confession of A Male SuperModel

Image result for Chad White Nude
On a gloomy Saturday morning  in New York, I went to Dean Street Studios to interview male supermodel Chad White. After half an hour, he came in, greeted everyone, and apologised for the juice stain on his shirt. Sweet, charming, and funny, it was easy to see why he is one of the industry’s favourite male models. He has been listed as one of the most iconic male models of all time (along with the likes of Tyson Beckford and Bill Curry), and was described by Vogue.com as “the unofficial face of the early 2000s.”
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, White started modelling at the age of 16, but didn’t pursue it seriously until later, after he injured his hand and gave up his dream of playing professional baseball. In 2005, he signed up with Major Model Management NY. A year later, Steven Klein shot him for a L’Uomo Vogue, landing White a cover and a 40-page editorial. His career skyrocketed to the top since then. “I didn’t know it was a big deal,” he said. “Now, I realise the magnitude and impact of the shoot. It was a big break for me.”

He has become the face of numerous campaigns of big designer brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, DSquared2, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, and Diesel. He has also appeared in numerous editorials in the world’s most respectable glossies—the likes of GQ, Dazed & Confused, Arena Hommes, Details, and V Man.
Now 31, White isn’t slowing down, and has plans to move onto greater things. The modelling world may be dominated by women, but being one of the most recognisable faces in fashion, he has proven that there’s more to being a male model than just (to quote Derek Zoolander) “being really, really, ridiculously good-looking.”

Did you always dream of becoming a model? What did you aspire to be when you were growing up?
CW: I never dreamt of being a model. I’ve always been into sports. I got into sports to stay out of trouble. My father was hard on me, and sports were my great escape. I played basketball, golf, soccer, softball, and football. I’ve always wanted to be a professional athlete.
So how did you get into modelling?
CW: It was a funny coincidence. My friend wanted to be in Playboy. She and I went to a modelling agency in Portland, Oregon. I came with her for moral support. My friend didn’t get the part, but the casting agent told me that I should be a model. Before I came to New York, I joined the Navy Seals. My agent, Jason, convinced me to talk my way out of it. I spoke to my commanding officer and told him that I would like to pursue a career in modelling. He told me to chase my dreams, and that if I decided to come back, he’d welcome me again. In the end, I didn’t go back.
What have been some of your favourite or most memorable shoots and campaigns?
CW: Gosh! I’ve had so many great shoots throughout my career. I’ve worked with amazing stylists, photographers, and designers. Dolce & Gabbana, DSquared2, Ralph Lauren, and Giorgio Armani were some of my most memorable shoots. For Brian Atwood’s recent book, we were all naked wearing high-heeled pumps. It was a great project, but it was difficult standing in women’s shoes.

What have been some of the challenges for you as a male model in the fashion industry?
CW: When I was starting out in my career, I wasn’t thinking of the challenges. I went with the flow and just focused on my work. Now, there is a huge demand for skinny male models. Designers like Prada and Gucci jumped into this army of boy-like models. I tried to do the skinny route. It didn’t work for me. I didn’t feel great. At the end of the day, it is the client’s decision if I suit the company’s vision or not.
What’s your personal style?
CW: I am a simple kind of guy. As long as I feel comfortable, I can be at ease. Look at what I am wearing now—a stained white shirt and a pair of grey jeans. For formal events, James Bond is my inspiration. The sleek tuxedo and suits inspire me to be polished and dapper. Now, if only I could have the accent to complete the look!

What piece of clothing can’t you live without?
CW: Aside from my underwear, I can’t live without my leather jacket. I bought this amazing Dolce & Gabbana from Selfridges in London. I felt cool. It completes the outfit. When I was a young boy, I would see my father dress up his look by wearing a leather jacket. My leather jacket is falling apart, but I still love it.
I also love bow ties. When I was five years old, I became a ring bearer at a wedding. My outfit was so crisp and clean, and I wore a bow tie. From then on, I’ve always loved it.

CHAD WHITE sits down for an exclusive interview with ME! Chad spoke with me talk about his beginnings, the legendary shoots he worked on as well as the challenges he faced in his career.
How did you start your modeling career? Do you remember your very first photo shoot?
I started my modeling career Back in 1999-2000 when I chaperoned a friend that wanted to model In Portland, Oregon to an agency named “mode models” When we arrived at the “open call” I was sitting there And they asked me if I too was interested in modeling…I said “no, I’m not interested, I’m only here in support of a friend” At that time I was only interested in playing baseball – I was a tall lanky kid that had diamond earrings or hoops in both ears and XL Baggy clothes that didn’t come close to fitting… Fast forward a week or two from that day, my friend convinced me to go back in and try the modeling and that is when it started.
My first photo shoot was a test that I had to pay 500$ to do. That was a lot of money for me back then, so I was very hesitant to do it… The photo shoot location was at the Oregon Coast so I was not excited for that… the shoot was around high noon, so It was so bright I could hardly open my eyes, and the make up artist caked so much Blush on my cheeks that I looked like a clown. The photos were so bad when I see them today and just start laughing every time. [laughs]

What do you enjoy most about modeling? And what do you dislike?I enjoy so many things about this industry. The traveling to exotic locations is of course, awesome, and I really feel blessed that a big part of my job is to go to the gym everyday and get as fit as I possibly can. But what I love most is the giant fashion family that I am a part of. I walk down a runway and I cant help but smile because most of the people sitting in those chairs I now call friends. Most of the time they are making faces or yelling out trying to make me smile and laugh down the runway. I love my agents too, they go beyond the call of duty to make “home away from home” for me. Lastly, as corny as it sounds, to hear my mom and friends reactions when I pop up randomly on their t.v’s or in their magazine’s is priceless… to hear them laugh is everything.
What I dislike about modeling… I don’t like being away from my family 11 months a year, that is the most difficult part for me. I don’t like how much the industry has changed… I miss when it was all about magazines and advertisements. I could go on about this but I’m going to bite my tongue here.

What are the highs and lows of being one of the sexiest male models?Am I one of the sexiest?? That’s news to me lol
How do u deal with the success?I remember where I come from and that keeps me grounded. If I ever got a big ego my father would definitely give me a quick reality check haha I feel lucky everyday to do what I do.
So, do you mind being in a spotlight?
The spotlight is fun if you roll with it. I don’t mind it because I don’t take myself too serious.
Even we got emails from girls asking about you…
I’m single now…what girls were asking about me? [laughs]

Your most memorable shoot? This is such a difficult question for me…there have been so many moments that were unbelievable… working with Steven Klein was and always will be one of my greatest honors of my career. But also, Steven Meisel, Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, Mert & Marcus again I could go on and on here. I’ve just been so lucky.
What was the most challenging thing you had to do for a shoot?
I think the most challenging thing was when I first had to go semi-nude. I didn’t know how my family and friends would react. Would they disown me?… Would they support me?… I called my dad that night and he said “No matter what we love and support you son. As long as you’re happy we are happy for you. And your true friends will also love and support you the same on your journey or they aren’t your friends.” That helped me through all my years of modeling, as I was often faced with similar challenges.

What was the most exciting project you’ve been part of?I can’t narrow this down to one job that was the “most exciting” I remember when My Agent Jason Kanner called me freaking out that we just booked the cover and entire L’UOMO Vogue shooting with Steven Klein. The days leading up to that, I was definitely stuck on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Besides the shoots any other projects are you most proud of?I’m always really proud to be part of charities. Giving my time and helping others fills me with a lot of joy.

You worked with many fantastic designers and photographers. Is there anyone that you didn’t work with but would really love to?Yes of course! Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Mcqueen, Versace, Gucci haha I have a long list. I have been lucky and worn all their clothes at one time or another but to really be part of their brand would be a great honor. A few dream photographers Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, David LaChapelle, Andy Warhol and many others.

You are no stranger to fashion spreads that had over 40 pages, and even had entire issues dedicated to you, but name for us one of your favorite photographs from your career, and who shot it.One of my favorite shots was photographed by Steven Klein in the Beverly hills hotel…I was draped across two chairs…it was just one of those moments when time seemed to stand still and I didn’t want it to end. Everything just seemed to click perfectly from the lighting, the set and me and Steven. That day was particularly incredible because Nancy Reagan was possibly going to be in the photo with me so my heart was racing.

How often do you check your social media accounts? This is a touchy subject..I actually try to leave my phone away from me so I don’t constantly check social media [laughs]. I was riding the train into Manhattan a few months back, and I looked down the train car and NOT ONE SINGLE person was talking… they ALL had their faces in their phones… from that day on I’ve made it a point to put my phone away and try to connect with people.

Do you read comments?
Do I read comments?… sometimes. Most people are really nice but a few have been pretty nasty so it left a bad taste.
How would you describe your personal style? What styling rules you always follow?Classic and simple. I like to be comfortable. Fitted jeans and a nice t-shirt… after years of being around stylists I follow too many rules that they abide by haha.
How do you stay in such fantastic shape?
I train as if the Zombie Apocalypse is coming tomorrow and I have to save everybody.

What’s your favorite fragrance?I love a musky, woody, deep scent like Tom Ford’s “oud wood” fragrance. But I can’t say my very favorite… its my date and special occasion scent, and it wouldn’t be as special if too many people started wearing it haha.
As someone who has a long career, what advice do you have for new models?
Stay humble and be grateful. We are lucky to do what we do, so don’t take it for granted. Try not to get lost in the partying and appreciate all the hard work your agents do for you. They never stop working day and night.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?“A wise youth makes hay while the sun shines, but what a shame to see a lad sleep away his hour of opportunity” – I fell asleep during class, and when I woke up I found this quote on a little yellow sticky note on my desk… It has never left my wallet.

If you hadn’t become a model, what would you be doing instead?
I would have been in the military. I was going to be a navy seal and then if I made it out I planned on being a fireman.
What are some of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to male supermodels?
That Male models are mean or they are like in the movie Zoolander. Most of the models I know are the nicest guys that were going pro for a sport or passed up on scholarships to pursue modeling.
